These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Melerio. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any additional policies referenced within the app, including applicable privacy disclosures. If you do not agree, you must not use Melerio.
You also represent that you have the legal authority to accept these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of any person or entity for whom you use the app. Your continued use of Melerio confirms your ongoing acceptance of this Agreement.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Melerio at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, used the app in an unlawful or abusive manner, created risk for us or other users, or if discontinuation is necessary for operational, legal, or security reasons.
You may stop using the app at any time. Termination or discontinuation of access does not limit any rights or remedies that may be available to us under law or equity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Melerio, its owner, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and representatives from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the app; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your infringement or misappropriation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or proprietary rights; or (d) any content, data, images, notes, or materials you create, upload, store, export, or share through the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Melerio and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, business opportunity, or device content, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Without limiting the foregoing, Melerio is not responsible for loss of locally stored records, deleted photos, export failures, interrupted access, purchase issues handled by platform providers, or errors in automated summaries, filters, or statistics. If liability is nevertheless imposed, our total liability shall be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app features at issue in the twelve months before the claim arose or the minimum amount required by law.
Melerio is a lightweight nail record and timeline app designed to help users document, organize, and review nail art history. The app allows users to capture or import photos of nail designs and save related information such as style type, primary and secondary colors, decorative elements, salon or nail artist details, price, notes, and creation date. The purpose of the service is personal visual archiving and reference, including reviewing past looks, tracking style changes over time, and reducing repeated selections.
The app may provide a timeline view of saved records, detailed record pages, editing and deletion tools, search and filtering by style, color, or date range, export of individual records to the device photo library, and basic statistical summaries such as total record count and frequently used styles or colors. Melerio is intended as a record-keeping utility only. It does not provide medical advice, nail health diagnosis, treatment recommendations, beauty guarantees, community features, creator marketplaces, salon recommendations, e-commerce, AI-generated style suggestions, or augmented reality try-on tools.
Melerio may offer a free version with core recording functionality subject to a storage limit, such as up to 20 saved records, and may offer paid unlocking of additional capacity or premium features such as unlimited records, statistics, or advanced filtering. Features, limits, and purchase structures may change over time. Data entered into the app, including photos, record metadata, and settings, may be stored locally on your device and may be deleted by you through in-app controls or device actions. Camera and photo library permissions are requested only when needed for taking photos, importing images, or exporting records.
Melerio, including its name, software, code, interface design, structure, compilation, graphics, logos, text, and all related intellectual property rights, is owned by or licensed to the operator of Melerio and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no rights, title, or interest in or to the app are transferred to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, publicly display, publicly perform, or create derivative works from any part of the app unless expressly permitted by us in writing.
You agree not to use Melerio in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or inconsistent with these Terms. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, or otherwise derive source code from the app; bypassing technical limitations or purchase restrictions; interfering with app security or functionality; introducing malware, scripts, or harmful code; using bots, scrapers, automation, or unauthorized tools to access or manipulate the service; and using the app to violate any person's rights.
You must not upload, store, export, or process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, threatening, abusive, obscene, exploitative, or otherwise objectionable, or that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights. You also may not use Melerio for commercial resale, unauthorized service bureau purposes, or competitive analysis intended to replicate the app.
Melerio is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, operating system, or platform version. Maintenance, updates, outages, device limitations, permission settings, or platform restrictions may affect functionality.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove any part of the app, feature set, storage limit, or purchase option at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.
Melerio may offer in-app purchases through Apple’s in-app purchase system, including non-consumable unlocks and, if implemented, consumable virtual currency such as coins. Any such purchases are processed by Apple, not directly by us, and are subject to Apple’s terms, billing rules, and refund policies.
Consumable virtual currency, if offered, is licensed, not sold, has no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, cannot be transferred except as required by law, and may be used only within Melerio for designated app features. Unless required by applicable law or expressly provided by the platform, purchases are final and non-refundable. We may change pricing, packaging, availability, or eligible uses of paid features at any time. If there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory platform rules regarding digital purchases, the platform rules will control to the extent required.
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect updates to the app, legal requirements, or business practices. When we do, we may update the effective date above and post the revised Terms within the app or through another reasonable method.
Your continued use of Melerio after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the app.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, access, and use Melerio solely for your own personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, and only in accordance with these Terms and applicable platform rules.
This license does not include any right to exploit the app commercially, make the app available to third parties, or use the app in a way not expressly authorized by us.
You are solely responsible for the content and information you choose to capture, upload, enter, store, edit, export, or delete through Melerio. This includes nail photos, notes, salon details, pricing information, design tags, and any other materials you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use such content, particularly if it includes another person's image, personal data, or protected material.
You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your device, managing app permissions, backing up any information you wish to retain, and understanding that deletion of local data may be irreversible. Any reliance on records, filters, or statistics generated by the app is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melerio is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and freedom from viruses or harmful components.
We do not warrant that the app will meet your expectations, that records or exports will never be lost, that statistics or filtering results will be complete or accurate, or that the app will operate without interruption or error.
You retain ownership of the photos, notes, metadata, and other content you provide to Melerio. We do not claim ownership of your user content. However, by using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and royalty-free license to process, store, display, format, and transmit your content only as reasonably necessary to operate the app’s functions for you, such as saving records locally, generating thumbnails, presenting timeline views, enabling exports, and supporting search or statistics.
This license exists solely for app functionality and does not grant us the right to sell your content or use it for advertising. Because the app may store data locally on your device rather than on our servers, some processing may occur entirely on-device. You remain solely responsible for your content and any consequences arising from it.
Melerio is intended only for individuals who are at least 17 years old and who have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction but at least 17 years old, you may use the app only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, where required by law. If you do not satisfy the eligibility requirements, you must not use Melerio.
Any summaries, filters, categorizations, statistics, preferences, counts, or other results displayed by Melerio are automated outputs based on the information you provide and the app’s internal logic. They are offered for general informational and organizational purposes only.
We do not guarantee that such results are accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any specific decision. Melerio is not a medical, diagnostic, professional beauty, or advisory service. You should independently review your saved records and exercise your own judgment before relying on any automated result.
These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to Melerio or your use of the app shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction determined under relevant consumer protection and conflict-of-law rules, without regard to principles that would require the application of another jurisdiction’s laws.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
